adidas berlin marathon

The marathon in Berlin is the fastest in the world, where everyone comes to beat their PB. For adidas running we developed the visual communication identity and campaign that unified their communication in and around the 2019 Berlin BMW Marathon.

We created a bold graphic design inspired by the speed and stages of the marathon. The graphics allowed to create constantly changing layouts that all fit within a simple grid system. Each letter in Berlin Does It Faster was set variable in length to resemble the different speeds of the competing runners and putting more emphasis on the uniqueness of the Berlin race.

The core statement „Berlin does it faster“was projected throughout various communication touch-points that ranged from OOH, retail, trade show, digital, print and brand activation.
